The females in Emergency Medicine Section (FiEM-EMSOG) is constituted with a vision of equity for EMSOG females in emergency medicine and a purpose to champion the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in emergency medicine through the pillars of advocacy, leadership, and education.

The Carreer in EM development Section focuses on helping anyone with interest in any of the Emergency Medicine fields on the best ways to achieve their aims of being and EM healthcare worker

3. CRITICAL CARE

Critical care is an ever revolving field with major advances, and the goals for this section are to keep you up-to-date by writing guidelines or position statements, networking, developing a job database, and providing mentorship. The Critical Care Medicine Section (CCS-EMSOG) aims to engage your clinical interests.

4. DISASTER MEDICINE

Disaster Medicine Section is the enhance the knowledge and research activities related to disaster medicine and to promote disaster medicine as a science.

5. HEALTH POLICY

This section help to develop work products related to health information/innovation policies, standards, implementation, certification criteria, benchmarks and similar issues, as well as the adoption, usability, and safety of health information technology solutions that advances the electronic access, exchange, and use of health information for EMSOG members

6. EM ULTRASOUND

We are excited to announce the new Emergency Ultrasound Section of the Emergency Medicine Society of Ghana (EMSOG). This section is founded to foster the professional development of its members and to educate them regarding point of care ultrasound.

7. PRE-HOSPITAL AND OUT OF HOSPITAL CARE

PHOHC-EMSOG section help Set and maintain standards in pre-hospital care in Promoting high-quality education and teaching in pre-hospital care, effectively integrate the efforts of all participants in pre-hospital care and initiate technical development and lead the evolution of research in pre-hospital care.

8. GLOBAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE

The international Emergency Medicine (IEM-EMSOG) section is formed to identify and develop new opportunities for EMSOG to positively impact international emergency medicine education and make recommendations to the EMSOG executives for implementation.

9. EMERGENCY NURSING

The sections will be involve in the development of Emergency Nursing activities. These can include but not limited to advocacy for emergency Nursing training, deployment of manuals. Development of Emergency Nursing training.

10. QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

This section develop quality measures that might impact the practice of emergency medicine across the country and the reimbursement of emergency medicine practitioners and also educate members regarding implementation and best practices for quality measures and international quality measurement programs.

11. EMERGENCY MEDICINE RESEARCH

The (EMR-EMSOG) section Coordinates all activities of the research network, in collaboration with country leads, the Academic Affairs and Sub-Specialty development Committee and the EMSOG Secretariat and also building research projects with the Academic Affairs and Sub-Specialty development Committee members.

12. RURAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE

This section is foster the professional development of emergency medicine in rural and remote areas of the country and educate its members on point of care for patients under such conditions.

13. E-HEALTH, M-HEALTH, TELEMEDICINE
